CONGRATULATIONS MS. RAQUEL

Ms. Raquel, our friendly face at the front desk here at iCademy, welcomed her first adorable grandbaby to the world this week! Ms. Raquel’s daughter LeAnne and her husband welcomed 7 lb 12 ounce Kennedi Sue Dodge on May 15th! Everyone is happy and healthy! Congratulations Ms. Raquel!!

FIELD DAY DETAILS FOR THURSDAY, MAY 25TH

Y5-5th grade students will be participating in an Innocademy/iCademy Global Olympics Field Day on May 25th at Helder Park from 11:30-3:25pm.

To help with transportation, we will be bussing students to the park but are asking parents and guardians to PICK-UP their student(s) at Helder Park at 3:25pm according to the map, below:

Important Information:

• Parents/guardians are welcome to join at 2:45pm to watch the Tug of War! 
  
• Make sure your child brings: tennis shoes, a water bottle, a hat/sunscreen/sunglasses.
  
• Sack Lunches are available if your child wishes to order a lunch from school (they need to order on Wednesday for Thursday).
  
• Please pick up your child at Helder Park in the parking lot location indicated on the map.

SPRING SHOWCASE DETAILS – HAPPENING JUNE 7TH

It’s Showtime! I am pleased to share with you our plans for the Innocademy Spring Showcase. The performance will be held on Wednesday, June 7, at 7 p.m. at Community Reformed Church in Zeeland (10376 Felch St, Zeeland, MI 49464).  As in years past, we will hold our dress rehearsal at the church during the afternoon. All students will be bussed to Community Reformed and should be picked up there at 3:30, the close of the school day. 

New this year: If you are a parent of a 5th-8th grade student who is NOT involved in the show, please still plan on picking them up at the church at 3:30. They will travel to the church with the other students and then continue their learning in a separate space at the church that afternoon. 

Doors will open for the evening performance at 6:45. Students should proceed to the gym between 6:45-6:50 to meet their teacher and line up. Family and friends may find seats in the sanctuary to view pictures and student artwork that will be digitally set to music. If you are a parent of a youngest friend in Ms. Kerri, Ms. Monica, Ms. Natalia, or Ms. Ashley’s room, please meet your child on stage AFTER their performance to take them back to sit with you for the remainder of the program.  

This program will feature the musical learning of ALL the Innocademy classic elementary students, elementary Las huellas students, Middle School Choir and The Middle School Drums/Ukes/Bars class. 

Lastly, don’t forget that this is a special occasion so please dress your best, and leave tennis shoes and jeans at home!

IMPORTANT REMINDER – EAST (TACO BELL =) PARKING LOT

As I shared earlier this year, our sweet friends at iCademy do need to dismiss their students at 3 pm each Tuesday and Thursday from that parking lot. Please be considerate of this and do not line up to pick up your Innocademy students until all of their little people have been reunited with their parents in that line. If you are parking in that pickup line, one of our staff members will kindly ask you to park your vehicle in the lot and rejoin the line once it has been cleared of iCademy pick-ups. Thank you for your cooperation and kindness.

Situations change so don’t be hesitant to apply to this confidential resource.

We have students on campus who have severe allergies to nuts of any kind. Please use extra caution when packing snacks, bringing treats to school, and enjoying lunches so that we can keep all of our students safe.
