**Reminder… Please make sure to send a full, labeled water bottle with your students to school each day. It would be REALL helpful if kiddos could have a second, labeled water bottle that just stays at school for the week – this is so helpful if a student forgets theirs on a particular day.

Ms. Monica’s Friends enjoying a nature walk through our on campus gardens!
Mr. Chad’s Friends spent some time learning about Wangari Maathai in reading and reflecting the inspiration of the illustrator and the real-life tree planting hero of Kenya.
They also had fun playing with the idea that “The World Is Not A Rectangle”

NEW INFORMATION

Dismissal – East Parking Lot (opposite side of the building from McDonald’s)

Thank you for not parking in the “Reserved-Precademy” area on the map, below. This has been helpful for our youngest friends during their afternoon dismissal each day. There are yellow Precademy signs in that area to help remind you =).

Just a reminder that our iCademy Hybrid friends dismiss at 3pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Please allow them to dismiss prior to parking in line waiting for your Innocademy child(ren). You should be all clear after 3:10pm. Thank you!

Middle School – Paying For 2nd Pizza Slice =)

For those kiddos ordering a second slice of pizza, please make sure to send money in a labeled envelope with your child’s name on it to school so that they can drop it off to Ms. Stacy. Please do not send loose cash/coins with them to pay in the hot lunch line =).

What is PBIS?

Innocademy believes in a school-wide culture of caring as a foundation. We believe in nurturing the whole child, not just their academic success. We intentionally focus on each child’s academic, social, emotional, physical, and spiritual growth. Our learning environment reflects our values.

We have implemented the Positive Behavior Intervention and Support (PBIS) framework. The focus of this framework is to create a positive school climate that fosters being RESPECTFUL, RESPONSIBLE, RESILIENT, and SAFE. All students are deliberately and frequently taught these positive expectations and acknowledged when demonstrating these positive behaviors.

Research shows student learning and growth are positively impacted when the home and school work together. It would be valuable for you to use this common language at home and acknowledge times your child is demonstrating positive behaviors. This partnership conveys the importance of these concepts and encourages your child to BE RESPECTFUL, BE RESPONSIBLE, BE RESILIENT, and BE SAFE everywhere!

We look forward to working with you as true partners in your child’s education!

Positively yours, Innocademy Team
