Art News From Ms. Sharon

Just an update on what is happening in the art department. Third, fourth and middle school electives  have finished up their one point perspective projects. We have learned to create space on a 2D surface.  Kindergarten, first and second graders have been doing winter projects, using values on snowmen and polar bears .  We have also been doing color mixing using analogous colors to create winter landscapes.  We are also participating in the China Art exchange with MSU. Art students will learn to use Chinese brushstrokes and will learn about life in China by understanding the artwork that was created by children in China.
