REMINDER: Open House on Monday, August 2nd!

We are looking forward to seeing all of your smiling faces at our Open House on Monday, August 2nd! If you have a friend of your family who may be interested in learning more please feel free to bring them along that evening! We are happy to chat with them!

Students should plan to bring school supplies with them that night to make the first day of school a bit easier =).

Special Note: If you are the parent of a Youngest Friend (Young 5’s and/or Kindergarten) please plan to arrive to your child’s classroom no later than 5:45pm that evening as the teachers will have a short information presentation for you.

Donations Needed, Please =)

Each week throughout the school year we recognize students who have demonstrated responsible, respectful, resilient and safe behavior as part of our PBIS (Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports) Program. Students receive tickets for modeling these behaviors and are placed in a weekly drawing for small prizes. Last year teachers gave out more than 10, 700 tickets! Wow!!! If you would be willing to donate anything to our prize closet, we would be most appreciative! Donations can happen throughout the year as well! Examples of donations might be… small trinkets, snack size candy bars, etc. We also recognize a staff member each week and would appreciate any $5 giftcards to places such as Starbucks, Biggby, Target, wherever! =). Thank you for considering!

Innocademy Information Night – August 17th

Please mark your calendars for August 17th beginning at 6pm for new families and 6:30pm for returning families. We are looking forward to gathering for a parent night where we can share our curriculum information as well as other important information that will make this year fantastic! Please watch your email and the blog for more information!

Mask Status Update

We continue to work closely with the Ottawa County Health Department and area school leaders regarding Covid-19 protocols. Today, masks are recommended making mask-wearing optional. We will absolutely keep you updated as we receive further guidance.

New Student? IMPORTANT INFO MUST BE ON FILE BEFORE FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL

If you have one or more new students joining us this year at Innocademy we are looking forward to you joining us! Unfortunately, your child will not be able to begin with us on the first day if we do not have the information, below, on file.

Please see the list below, gather the documents and, if you have not done so, already, please upload ASAP using THIS LINK. If you prefer to bring the items to campus, instead, please do so during Open House on Monday, August 2nd.

• Student original birth certificate
• Parent/Legal Guardian Driver’s License 
• Updated Immunizations
• Health Appraisal – Completed by Physician (below – needed only for students entering K or who have never attended a public school in Michigan)
• Acknowledgment of Concussion Information (below)
• Records Request (below – no need to fill it out if this is your child’s first year attending any school)
• IEP (if applicable) 
• 504 Plan (if applicable)

Who Is My Child’s Teacher?

Teachers are excited to meet and/or reconnect with your kiddos! You will should have received a welcome email from your child’s teacher. If you have not, please check your junk/clutter folders as we sometimes wind up, there. If nothing, please email Leisa.Lobbezoo@innocademy.com so that I can check on it for you =).

Calendar for the 2021-2022 School Year

Please note the first day of school is kicking off with a 1/2 day on Monday, AUGUST 9TH. Students will be dismissed at 12pm.
