FUN AT INNOCADEMY THIS WEEK…
Ms. Karly and Ms. Cyndi took a break from technology to head outside for some fresh air this week!
One of Mr. Chad’s friends got creative in their lesson submission. Fun, sneaky selflie =)
Sometimes it takes a great deal of effort to eliminate distractions for kiddos AND teachers during Zoom lesson time! Thank you for trying to provide a distraction-free environment for your child(ren) to learn.

ABSENT FROM A SCHEDULED ZOOM MEETING?
Just as if your child were attending in person learning, attendance is taken twice each day. The attendance is recorded day during Zoom meetings with teachers. This is information we must report to the State of Michigan. If your child will be absent from one of those meetings, please call our office at 616-748-5637.
COVID POSITIVE DIAGNOSIS?
In the event your child receives a positive COVID diagnosis, please make sure to contact us, immediately. We must continue to update the COVID transparency page on our website and be able to work with the health department in their contact tracing efforts.
REMINDER – EARLY DISMISSAL ON DECEMBER 11TH
This Friday, Dec. 11th is a previously scheduled Early Release Friday for our teachers to continue to grow professionally. We will honor that and you will see that your children will not have any AFTERNOON live Zoom meetings or classwork on Seesaw/Google Classroom. All morning activities and meetings will continue as normal. Enjoy a lighter day!
PBIS ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS
We love to recognize when the kids are being respectful, responsible, resilient, and safe. One way we do that is to complete a PBIS ticket and submit them for a weekly drawing. Well, we don’t want to stop that during Remote. We are still recording those positive behaviors and we’d love your help too. Feel free to fill out this very brief form throughout the week when you notice and want to acknowledge your child. If a QR code is an easier way for you to access the form, see below.2.
LEARNING FROM HOME WEBPAGE
Please continue to check the LEARNING FROM HOME WEBPAGE for current schedules and recorded lessons.
REMOTE LEARNING RE-EVALUATION ON DECEMBER 17TH
As a reminder, you will be receiving a communication from us no later than December 17th regarding the extension of Remote Learning or the return to in-person, onsite learning.
You will undoubtedly notice a discrepancy in the modality of learning districts around West Michigan are choosing, remote learning or in person. Each district is working with the health department to make informed decisions based on their own staffing and safety concerns. At this time, Innocademy is continuing to “stay the course” of Remote Learning.
