March is Reading Month
All students will be invited to participate in Innocademy Reading BINGO – very similar to what was done last year! Middle School AND Elementary students are invited to join as we have incorporated activities that are appropriate for both age groups.
There are instructions on the sheets your student will be bringing home, but the abridged version is that for every BINGO that is completed and turned in at the end of the month the student’s name will be entered into a drawing for a free book on April 1st.
Parents can also interact with Inno Facebook posts during the month of March to earn more entries for their children! Keep an eye out!

At IES, we value global learning! If you and/or your family has traveled recently, we’d love to hear about it! Every couple of months, a team of teachers focused on expanding our school’s global mindset, will be sending out a newsletter that features educational videos, relevant activities, and student/ staff spotlights. Total Trek Quest – SIGN UPS Happening NOW! We Currently have 9 Boys Registered!!!
Total Trek Quest is a fun, high energy program designed exclusively for boys in 3rd-5th grade! TTQ incorporates strength and stretching exercises with training for a 5K. Boys in this program will develop positive peer relationships, and feel a part of a team, while also working toward individual goals. Additional practice activities focus on developing a healthy lifestyle, social/relationship skills, how to make healthy choices, and resisting peer pressure.
Please register your son here: https://www.raceplanner.com/register/index/AOSpring2020
We’re also always looking for coaches. Coaches can be male, female, both, or neither, and are in prime position to be a positive role model for these boys throughout this 9-week journey. Coaches don’t need to be a runner, as the program has much more to offer. All coaches receive support from TTQ staff before, during, and after the season, as well as program training & CPR certification. This is a truly rewarding experience for anyone.
If you have questions regarding registering your boy(s) and/or are interested in coaching, please contact Brandon Melnyk @ bmelnyk@arborcircle.org , or 616-450-4651.
Thank you, and we’ll see you in the spring!
