“A Little Princess” Tickets on Sale, NOW!

We are so excited to announce that our Innocademy and iCademy Global students have been working hard on their spring production of “A Little Princess” by Vera Morrisa dapted from Frances Hodgson Burnett’s “Sara Crewe”. This awesome production is being directed by Tess Kotecki. Performances will be March 23, 24, & 25 at 7:30pm. Tickets can be purchased at the front desk. They are $5 for an adult and $3 for a student. Hurry and get yours, now, before they sell out!


We are SO excited to host our first annual Kid-to-Kid sale on Saturday, March 4th.  Any student at Homestead Campus may participate! Get a jump start on spring cleaning and earn money for your field trips too! Click on the link below to indicate you will be participating:


Proceeds earned from your child’s space will go directly to his/her field trip account.

Who can sell:  Any student at an IES school

Where: Homestead Campus

When: Saturday, March 4

  • 8-9am Set Up Stations in the Inno lunch room
  • 9-10am Shopping Open to IES Parents Only
  • 10am-1pm – Shopping Open to Public and IES Parents

What: You can sell anything you wish related to kids: clothing, toys, books, games, shoes, sports equipment, anything you find in your room that you no longer would like to have. 

You will be given a space to sell your items. You will be in charge of pricing your own items. Your student and an adult must be present for the duration of the sale. You must supply your own cash to make change for any sale at your booth.

Options for participation:

  1. You may rent a table for $10 or you can provide your own.
  2. You may hire a student worker for $40 to sell your items for you. You will be responsible for pricing your items, setting up and taking down your space. Your student worker will be present from 9am-1pm
  3. You may participate in the bake sale. If you choose to participate in the bake sale, you will not be able tohave your own selling station. Only 5 students will be allowed to participate in the bake sale. Baked goods must be individually wrapped and priced. Your student must be present to assist with the selling of the baked goods.

Exciting News! Middle School Spring Sports Offerings!

This spring we are trying something new here at Innocademy! We are currently working on combining with Corpus Christi for all middle school sports! By doing this, students will have the opportunity to participate in many more sports such as soccer, tennis, baseball, track and basketball.

For this spring we will be joining the Corpus Christi team, and playing under their name. Next school year, we hope to combine and play under both the Innocademy and Corpus Christi name. Mike Owens is the Athletic Director at Corpus Christi and we will be working together with him to provide this amazing opportunity. He and myself will be present at the Parent Meeting on Thursday, February 23rd at 6:30 to answer any questions and to provide more information.

The spring is coming fast and we need to see how many students we have interested in playing the sports below. If your student is interested, please send me an email with the sport they would like to participate in, the students first and last name Katie.wilson@innocademy.com and you will be added to an email list and will receive further information. Please do this before Monday, February 27. Please feel free to contact me with any further questions! Thank you and I am looking forward to this new exciting adventure!

We have 6 boys signed up so far!! Yeah!! We have room for 9 more. If your 3rd – 5th grade son would like to participate, we would LOVE to have him! Interested in Hosting an Exchange Student This Summer?

4 Week Immersion Program with activities:  Dates TBD (usually late June – late July)High school students from Spain come to the U.S. on a 4 week program to enjoy the host family experience. Primarily, the students are living as a member of an American family, but the students are also able to come together as a group twice a week to do “American” activities. These activities include: bowling, canoeing, playing paintball, going to the beach, visiting Craig’s Cruisers and Michigan Adventures, and shopping at an outlet mall. The students can join the group activities on Tuesday and Thursdays in Grandville.

6 Week Total Immersion Homestay Program: (Great Lakes Area) Dates TBD (usually late June – early Aug.)

High school students from Spain spend 6 weeks living the “American Experience” with a volunteer host family in a total immersion. The students become part of the family and engage in whatever summer activities the host family has planned.  Students choose this program in order to be immersed in the English language and culture.

News from “Plugged In”…formerly “Devos”

Wow, what a great year morning devotions at pluggedIN have been so far. Thank you for bringing your students before school starts for a chance to learn, pray, and build each other up in Christ.  Many stories have been shared about the great things being learned and the fun that is happening.   The number of students attending has grown significantly and we are looking for a few hands to help with “crowd control”.  If you feel you are able to assist for a morning, or more, to help coral listening ears to our parent-teachers, please sign up through the link below.  If you find yourself dropping your students off and have a couple of extra minutes to join our children at pluggedIN, please do and don’t forget to thank our great volunteers!  Thanks for considering helping out and thanks for letting us get to know your children, they are a joy!

Sign Up For Innocademy Texting!

Before our (what we thought was going to be awesome!) Infinite Campus notification system, we used a service called “Rained Out”. It sent you a notification if school was closed/delayed. I’ve refreshed the account so it’s ready to use again until our IC system is functioning correctly. If you signed up to use it before, you may just want to sign up, again, using the easy directions, below, just to make sure.

Here is how to sign up:

On your smartphone, prepare to send a text message

1) In the “To” section, type 84483

2) In the “message” section, type Innocademy (with capital “i”)

3) Hit “send”

You will receive confirmation that you are now part of the Innocademy text messaging system. If you do not receive a confirmation back, check with your carrier to see if they support “short code” messaging. You can email me with any issues and we can trouble shoot =).

Fundraising Note From Our International Team – Sign Up, Now To Participate and Earn Funds!

We are going to be offering a bake sale to 3rd  – 8th grade students as another opportunity to earn money toward student field trip accounts!  Families with more than one student may sign each student up for their own week.  You will be able to sell baked goods in the RE:FUEL coffee shop for the entire week you are signed up!
